Hello everyone! This my goodbye letter to America as I prepare to travel abroad for the first time. I am participating in the 2022 International Farm Youth Exchange (IFYE), from the United States to South Korea. IFYE’s motto is “Peace through understanding.” By providing this exchange opportunity to Youth ages 18-29, they are also proving the priceless experience of living an ordinary life in a different culture.
I am honored to be a part of this program and cannot wait for the adventures I will have in these next 2 months. I will be staying with 4 different host families, each of which is involved in a form of agriculture. Each family is different and is involved in agriculture in a different way.
